We are proud to announce that Tauras Sauna has been recognised as a winner of the BIG SEE Product Design Award 2026 – one of Europe’s most distinguished honours in architecture and design.
A Benchmark of Design Excellence in Europe
The BIG SEE Product Design Award is presented annually by Zavod Big – a non-profit organisation based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the founding body behind the BIG SEE platform. Since its establishment in 2018, the award has grown from a regional initiative into a globally recognised programme, celebrating outstanding achievements across architecture, interior design, and product design.
Awards are granted to a carefully selected group of winners each year, with the jury evaluating entries on the basis of innovation, aesthetic integrity, contextual relevance, and the ability to meaningfully contribute to the built and designed environment. The programme encompasses 19 countries across Southeast Europe and beyond, making recognition at this level a mark of genuine international standing.
Recognition at the BIG SEE Awards represents not merely aesthetic achievement, but a demonstration that design can serve public life – that form and function can coexist at the highest level.

Tauras Sauna — Designed for Public Life
Tauras Sauna was conceived as more than a wellness product. From the earliest stages of its development, our team at Celsium sought to create a sauna that could serve as a centrepiece of shared, public space – bringing the centuries-old tradition of sauna culture into contemporary urban and resort environments.
The design is guided by a belief that public wellness infrastructure should be both architecturally considered and functionally uncompromising. Tauras Sauna embodies this principle: its form integrates naturally within diverse settings, while its construction upholds the exacting standards our clients expect from Celsium.
The BIG SEE jury’s recognition of Tauras Sauna within the Urban and Public Design category affirms what we set out to achieve – a product that transcends the private and speaks to the collective.
Lithuanian Design on the International Stage
For Celsium, this award carries significance beyond the recognition itself. It marks a moment in which Lithuanian craftsmanship and design thinking are validated at a European level – and it strengthens our commitment to continuing that work with rigour and ambition.
We believe that exceptional design is a long-term investment: in the quality of spaces people inhabit, in the reputation of the brands that occupy those spaces, and in the culture of making that sustains an industry. This award is both an acknowledgement of what we have built and a responsibility to build further.
